Hi, I'm Beatriz, 31, based in Lisbon, Portugal. I've been photographing since I was six and flying a drone since 2024. The images in this collection were made on trips to Indonesia and the Philippines with my DJI Mini 3, which I bought to experience these places not only from the ground, but also from the sky. There is really no limit to their beauty.

I was given my first camera when I turned six, and photography has stayed close ever since. Not as a profession, but as the way I keep a record of what a place actually feels like.

Flying a drone has never stopped being nerve-wracking. Every take-off still comes with my heart somewhere near my hands. But from above, coastlines lose their horizon and become something quieter: geometry, color, light and shadow, arranged in ways you can't see from the ground.

theblvstudio is a small collection of those views. Eight aerial photographs taken across Indonesia and the Philippines, printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta and produced in Portugal. Every print is packed by hand and signed by me before it leaves.

If one of them stops you for a moment, it did the same to me.
